SPICE AND WOLF HOLO JAPANESE DOLL 1/4 PVC FIG (NET) (C: 1-1-
From Furyu. Holo from "Spice and Wolf" gets a gorgeous new 1/4-scale "Japanese Doll" figure from FuRyu's F:NEX series! Holding a sheaf of wheat in one hand, she's been captured in a dancing pose at a summer festival; her impressive tail and hair flow on the light breeze, and the flower decoration she wears in her hair has been painstakingly sculpted. The prototype of her outfit was created by the festival doll craftsman Heian Juho. In addition to matching the flowing shape of her tail, Japanese dance movements have been incorporated into the rotation of her kimono's hem to give this figure a subtle sense of motion and elegance. The fabric for her kimono is dyed using the Kata Yuzen technique. Its pattern depicts various motifs of spring, summer, autumn and winter -befitting the wise wolf who governs fertility. The main color of the fabric is purple, which has been considered a noble color since ancient times. The fabric is painstakingly dyed by hand at the Yuzen factory in Kyoto by Nishimura Shoji Shoten, a long-established textile merchant. The elegant obi she wears is made of gold brocade fabric manufactured by Bando Shoten, a textile merchant in Kyoto. Various floral patterns are woven into the white base, with a refreshing lime-green color added to give a pop of color to the calm colors of the kimono.
